Quick Start Guide
Create your account and start scanning in 5 minutes
Welcome to Predite — AI-powered prediction market intelligence. This guide takes you from signup to your first trade in about 15 minutes.
What You'll Need
- •A valid email address
- •A web browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Edge — all work)
- •A crypto wallet if trading live (MetaMask, Phantom, or any Web3 wallet)
- •A small amount of USDC on Polygon for live trading (start with $20-50)
You don't need any of this to use paper trading mode or browse signals — only email and 30 seconds.
Step 1: Create Your Account
Go to predite.io/register and sign up with your email. We use Clerk for authentication, which means:
- •No password reset emails getting lost (modern flow)
- •Optional two-factor authentication (recommended for Bot plan users)
- •Single sign-on via Google or GitHub if you prefer
- •Your password is never stored in plaintext on our servers
After signing up, check your inbox for a verification email. Click the link to activate your account. You'll be redirected to the dashboard.
Step 2: Pick Your Plan
We offer three tiers, all month-to-month with no contract:
Starter ($29/month)
- •Polymarket EV scanner (find +EV markets automatically)
- •Basic AI probability signals
- •Paper trading ($10k virtual capital)
- •Markets from both Polymarket and Kalshi (venue coverage isn't gated by plan)
- •Best for: new traders learning the platform
Pro ($59/month)
- •Everything in Starter
- •Whale tracker (follow top wallets)
- •Cross-platform arbitrage scanner
- •Heatmap, Trade Journal, Kelly Calculator, Slippage Simulator, Backtesting
- •AI chat, AI market match, insider detection, anomaly alerts
- •Best for: serious traders who want full intelligence
Bot ($99/month)
- •Everything in Pro
- •Automated bot builder (custom strategies)
- •Live CLOB trading on Polymarket
- •Copy trading — mirroring another trader's fills is automated execution, so it needs this plan, not Pro
- •TWAP orders (split large trades)
- •Brazilian tax report export
- •Gasless trading via Builder Program
- •Best for: active traders who want to automate
You can upgrade or downgrade anytime. Billing starts on the day you subscribe — there is no free trial period.
Step 3: Take the Tour
After logging in, you'll see a brief onboarding tour. It walks nine sidebar entries in order:
- •Scanner: where AI finds +EV signals across markets
- •Bots: build automated strategies (Bot plan)
- •Whales: see what big traders are doing
- •Alerts: rules that notify you when a market moves
- •Settings: where you connect a wallet
- •Tools: Kelly, slippage, journal and the rest of the calculators
- •AI Chat: ask questions about a market in plain language
- •Copy Trading: mirror another trader (Bot plan)
- •Publish: put a strategy of yours in the marketplace
Skip the tour if you've used similar platforms before, or take it if you want a guided intro.
Step 4: Run Your First Scan
Navigate to the EV Scanner from the sidebar. You'll see a list of current Polymarket and Kalshi markets, sorted by AI-estimated edge.
Focus on:
- •The edge > 5pp filter chip. Don't go by colour: the edge badge turns teal on *any* positive edge, including +0.3pp, which is noise rather than an opportunity.
- •Confidence above 70% from the AI
- •Liquidity, which the scanner does not filter for you — a wide spread eats an edge this small, so check the order book before sizing
Click any market to see the detailed analysis: AI reasoning, recent price action, news context.
Step 5: Try Paper Trading
Before risking real money, paper trade for at least a week.
Navigate to Paper Trading. You start with $10,000 of virtual capital. Pick a signal you like, place a virtual buy, watch how it resolves.
The virtual portfolio tracks:
- •Each trade's entry/exit
- •Realized vs unrealized P&L
- •Your win rate and average return
- •Calibration (when you said 70% confidence, did you win 70% of those trades?)
Aim for 30+ closed trades in paper mode before going live. This builds discipline and reveals your actual edge.
Step 6: Connect Your Wallet (Bot Plan)
If you upgraded to Bot plan and want to live trade:
- Open Settings and find the Platform Connections (🔌) card; live execution is set up from Live Trading Setup (⚡)
- Paste the private key of a dedicated Polygon wallet and pick your signature type — there is no browser wallet pop-up (see Connecting Your Wallet for the full walkthrough)
- Approve the standard Polymarket spend allowance for USDC
- Deposit USDC on Polygon (start small — $20-50)
You may see a "⚡ Gasless" badge. It reflects whether the Builder Program is switched on for this deployment — it is not a per-account eligibility check, so it looks the same for everyone. When it is on, gas on Polygon is covered by Polymarket's Builder Program, not by Predite.
Step 7: Run Your First Bot
In the Bots section, click + Create Bot and pick one of the eight strategy templates. Three good starting points:
- •EV Follower: buys when the AI edge clears the threshold you set — not a fixed 5pp
- •Whale Copier: mirrors what large wallets are doing. It follows the wallets the engine tracks; there is no per-bot wallet picker in the form, so use Copy Trading when you want to name specific traders
- •Mean Reversion: fades extreme probabilities (>95% or <5%)
Configure:
- •Bot Name
- •Min Edge (%) — how much AI edge a signal needs before this bot acts
- •Max Trade Size ($) — a dollar cap per order, not a percentage of a bankroll. There is no "starting capital" field: a bot doesn't hold a balance of its own, it spends from your connected wallet.
- •Max loss (USD) — a circuit breaker. When the bot's cumulative P&L since it was created reaches minus this amount, it pauses itself. It is a lifetime figure, not a daily one.
- •Max trades per day — the per-day brake, counted in *entries* rather than dollars
- •Optional: Trailing stop (%), Breakeven after (%), Kelly bankroll and fraction, entry/exit hour windows, and a per-category exposure cap
There is no stop-loss field in this form. The bot's hard stop is a fixed 30% applied by the engine; the trailing stop and breakeven settings sit on top of it.
Click Create. The bot is saved paused — nothing happens yet. Flip it to Running on the bot's row and the execution engine, a cron that runs every 15 minutes, starts picking it up.
While live trading is off for your account, the bot records its trades as paper. Turn live execution on only when you trust the strategy.
Step 8: Set Up Notifications
Go to Settings → Notifications to choose how you want alerts:
- •Email: trades placed and filled, plus alert rules firing on a signal's edge. There is no weekly summary email.
- •In-app: real-time toast notifications
- •Telegram: already available — paste your Chat ID in Settings and verify it; messages only go out once the ID is confirmed
- •Webhooks: point your own endpoint at Predite's events (see Webhooks)
We send notifications conservatively. You won't be spammed. You can opt out anytime.
Keyboard Shortcuts
For power users:
- •Cmd+K (or Ctrl+K): quick search any market or page
- •D: dashboard
- •S: scanner
- •B: bots
- •W: whales
- •T: trader profiles
- •P: portfolio
- •A: alerts
- •N: news
Every one of these can be rebound in Settings. The single keys only fire when no modifier is held and you aren't typing in a field.
Common First-Time Issues
"I can't see Polymarket": Polymarket geofences US IPs. Use Kalshi instead if you're in the US.
"My wallet won't connect": make sure MetaMask is on Polygon network, not Ethereum mainnet. Switch in the wallet UI.
"The scanner shows no signals": check the filters that exist — platform (All / POLY / KLSH), side (All / YES / NO), the edge > 5pp chip and the category dropdown. The edge chip is the usual culprit; turn it off and the smaller edges come back. There is no volume filter and no adjustable thresholds, so if the list is still empty the scan genuinely found nothing that cycle.
"My bot isn't trading": check if it's in paper mode (default), check if there are open positions consuming capital, check the bot's status indicator.
