Bot Strategy Library
The five official Predite strategies, their parameters, pros and cons, and a 30-day mini-backtest.
The Bot Strategy Library is the official catalogue of Predite strategies: five templates written and maintained by us, each with a full explanation, its honest downsides, expected statistics and a 30-day mini-backtest you can run on the spot. It is a Pro plan feature and lives at Tools → Strategy Library.
Don't confuse it with the Strategy Marketplace, which lists strategies published by other users. The Library is curated; the Marketplace is community-supplied.
Reading a card
Each strategy is a collapsible row with its name, a category badge, a risk level (low, medium or high), a one-line summary, and two headline numbers: Est. Win Rate and Est. Sharpe. Those two are labelled *estimates* for a reason — they are reference figures shipped with the template, not measurements of your account. As the footnote says: expected stats come from a two-year backtest, real performance varies with volatility, start in paper. Once you run the mini-backtest, the headline flips from Est. Win Rate to Win Rate (real) in teal, and that number *is* measured.

The five strategies
The reference parameters below describe each strategy as designed and are what the mini-backtest runs on. They are not copied into the bot you create — there you set your own.
- •EV Follower — *Signal, medium risk, est. 58% win rate, est. Sharpe 1.4.* Runs the scanner on a schedule, finds markets where the AI probability beats the market price by more than your threshold, and buys. Reference: minimum edge 15pp, maximum size $200, 25% stop loss.
- •ARB Hunter — *Arbitrage, low risk, est. 95% win rate, est. Sharpe 3.2.* Watches mapped Polymarket↔Kalshi pairs and fills both legs when the spread clears fees. Reference: minimum spread 2pp, maximum size $500. Low variance, but it ties up capital on two platforms and openings are rare.
- •Whale Copier — *Copy, medium risk, est. 62% win rate, est. Sharpe 1.1.* Mirrors pre-vetted wallets at a fraction of their size, with your own stop independent of theirs. Reference: copy 15% of the original size, mega tier only, 25% stop loss. You always enter after the whale — latency is the cost.
- •Mean Reversion — *Quant, high risk, est. 54% win rate, est. Sharpe 0.8.* Fades extreme moves with no matching catalyst, betting on a snap-back. Reference: minimum move 15pp, maximum size $150. Breaks down during breaking news.
- •News Reactor — *News, high risk, est. 56% win rate, est. Sharpe 1.0.* Uses AI Market Match to trade a headline before the price fully adjusts. Reference: minimum confidence 0.7, maximum size $100. The edge is speed, and most news doesn't move the market.
Preview Backtest 30d
This button runs the strategy's parameters through Predite's backtest engine over the last 30 days and returns Trades, Win Rate, P&L and Max DD (maximum drawdown). The simulated position size is the strategy's own maximum size.
Two honest limits:
- •The engine is directional, not exact. It replays cached market snapshots, does not re-run the AI over historical data, and enters at the day's mid price. With only a few days of history available, the result says so instead of pretending.
- •Not every strategy converts into a backtest condition. The preview maps the config to conditions the engine understands — an edge threshold for EV Follower, a confidence threshold for News Reactor, a probability threshold for Mean Reversion. ARB Hunter and Whale Copier have no such field, so they fall back to a permissive placeholder. Their preview runs, but it is not testing the arbitrage or the copying logic. Judge those two on the description, not the preview.
Sending it to the bot builder
Use this strategy → deep-links to the bot builder with that template pre-selected and the creation dialog already open. You name the bot and set your own parameters — the form opens at Min edge 15 and Max size 200 whichever template you picked, plus an optional Max loss (USD) — auto-pause circuit breaker. EV Follower additionally supports Kelly auto-sizing, sizing each entry from the AI probability, the price and a bankroll you provide.
The Library covers five of the builder's templates; the builder also offers Calendar, Fade Resolution and the no-code Custom Rule builder. Whatever you pick, the bot starts in paper mode and must log 10 paper trades before it can go live.
