Operating Signals: From Analysis to Real Trades
Predite is more than an analytics dashboard. Every signal it surfaces — an AI probability edge on the EV Scanner, a market flagged by the AI Match engine, an anomaly, a hot market on the heatmap — can be turned into a real bet on your own Polymarket account in one click. This guide walks through the full loop: connect a wallet, operate a signal, manage the position, and close it.
What "Real Trading" Means on Predite
When you operate a signal, Predite places a real order on the Polymarket CLOB (Central Limit Order Book) from a wallet you control. It never custodies your funds. Your private key is encrypted (AES-256-GCM) and only ever decrypted in memory at the moment of signing an order. Every order passes through a single guarded execution path with hard safety limits: per-trade caps, a global daily cap, a per-user kill switch, and idempotency so a double-click never doubles your bet.
Real trading requires the Bot plan, a connected self-custody wallet, and live-trading access on your account. If any of those is missing, the "Operar" button opens a short prompt that routes you to exactly what you need — upgrade your plan, connect a wallet, or request access — instead of failing silently.
Step 1 — Connect a Self-Custody Wallet
Go to Settings → Trading and connect a Polymarket wallet. This is the most important step to get right, and there is one critical rule:
Use a self-custody wallet (MetaMask, Rabby, or a hardware wallet) with USDC.e held on-chain on Polygon. Email/Google (Magic Link) Polymarket accounts funded by card or Apple Pay do NOT work for API trading — in those accounts the balance is custodied by Polymarket and never becomes on-chain USDC.e, which is exactly what the CLOB API needs. Predite blocks those account types during connection and warns you, so you don't waste a deposit.
Two things must be true in your wallet on the Polygon network:
- •USDC.e (bridged) at contract 0x2791Bca1f2de4661ED88A30C99A7a9449Aa84174 — this is the collateral Polymarket uses. Note that native USDC (Circle, 0x3c49…) is a *different token* and will not work; if you hold native USDC, swap it to USDC.e first.
- •A small amount of POL (MATIC) for gas — the first order sets an on-chain allowance, which costs a few cents of gas.
Choose signature type EOA (0) and set the funder address to your own wallet address.
Step 2 — Operate a Signal
Anywhere you see a signal, you'll see a ⚡ Operar button: the EV Scanner, Top Signals on your dashboard, AI Match, Anomalies, the Heatmap, and each market's detail page. Click it and a pre-filled ticket opens:
- •The market and the call are already selected — a YES call buys the YES token, a NO call buys the NO token.
- •You confirm the price and size (in shares). The ticket shows the notional total.
- •To fill immediately, set a price slightly above the market (a "marketable" order). A price below the market rests on the book until someone crosses it.
It is never one-click. You always confirm price and size before anything is sent. The first order for a wallet also sets the on-chain allowance automatically, so it can take 10–30 seconds — don't close the modal or click twice.
Step 3 — Track and Close Positions
The Portfolio page is your unified view. It shows:
- •On-chain positions already in your Polymarket account, with live price, value, and P&L.
- •Orders placed via Predite — a dedicated history of every order the platform fired (manual, bot, or copy), with side, price, size, status, and source.
Every open position has a Fechar (close) button. Closing sends a real SELL order with a "close" intent, which skips the entry caps because reducing exposure should never be blocked by a limit. As with opening, you confirm price and size, and you can close partially.
Bots and Copy-Trading
Bots and whale copy-trading run through the same guarded execution path, but live money is gated behind operator switches that are OFF by default. Until an operator enables them, bots and copies run in paper (simulation) mode — they evaluate and record trades without spending real funds. This is deliberate: validate a strategy in paper first, then go live. When you follow a whale, Predite tells you clearly whether copies will execute for real or stay in simulation based on your connection and access.
Safety and Limits
- •Conservative caps apply to automation: a per-trade maximum, a per-bot daily volume cap, a cap on simultaneous open positions per bot, and a global daily cap across your account.
- •Kill switch. Flip it in Live Trading settings to instantly pause all live orders.
- •Start small. Live trading carries real risk, including bugs in early versions. Begin with $1–10 positions until you're confident.
- •Predite is not a broker-dealer, money transmitter, or financial advisor. You are responsible for every trade your account executes.
Kalshi
Kalshi execution is coming. Today, Kalshi markets show a "Kalshi soon" state on signal surfaces — the analytics are live, but placing real Kalshi orders is a separate integration that requires your Kalshi API credentials. Polymarket is fully supported today.
The Loop, End to End
Connect a self-custody wallet → find a signal you believe in → click Operar and confirm the ticket → watch the position in your unified Portfolio → close it with one click when you're done. That's the whole point of Predite: analysis you can act on, without leaving the platform and without handing over custody of your funds.
